Sultana Afdhal is Chief Executive Officer of the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), an initiative of Qatar Foundation that promotes a healthier world through global collaboration. In her current role, Sultana has been instrumental in promoting healthcare innovation globally, not least by working closely with the World Health Organization on a variety of initiatives, most recently representing WISH as a contributor on the WHO’s 2020 Scope of World Nursing report. Before joining WISH, Sultana worked at the Doha International Family Institute. She is a published novelist, with the proceeds of her first book ‘The Mango Tree’ donated to the Fight for Sight charity.
