Rodrigo de Alvarenga has worked for 21 years in the financial markets. Passionate about mentoring entrepreneurs, he became a chief mentor in global entrepreneurship programs such as EIA, AIA, GSA, FI, and has been contributing as a judge at the MIT Innovators under 35 Award EU&LATAM editions. In 2015, was awarded by ESIC Business & Marketing School with the 10th Brazilian edition of the Aster Prize (Professional Trajectory). Besides this, Rodrigo has been teaching entrepreneurship, digital transformation, venture building, business design and impact measurement as visiting lecturer/professor. In 2010, became an Angel Investor, took over as HAG’s CEO in 2013, a Venture Builder he founded in 2010 and that has invested in +30 startups from USA, EU, LATAM & MENA, also working with corporates in business & digital transformation,
corporate venture & people’s acceleration. Currently, is pursuing a PhD in Industrial Engineering & Systems focused on venture building, holding an MSc in Economic Development, MBA & BA.
