Professor Joris Larik is Assistant Professor of EU and International Law at Leiden University and Senior Advisor to the Just Security 2020 Program at the Stimson Center. Dr. Larik has contributed to several high-level policy reports, including the 2015 report of the Albright-Gambari Commission on Global Security, Justice & Governance and most recently as Secretary of the Expert Group on Interstate Use of Force and Humanitarian Intervention by appointment of the Foreign Minister of the Netherlands. He is the author of Foreign Policy Objectives in European Constitutional Law (Oxford University Press, 2016).
