Mariam Al Misned

She holds an Executive Master’s Degree in strategic planning and Business Administration from HEC Paris University (2014)

Mariam Al-Misnad has assumed a number of positions, inter alia,  a member of the Childhood Committee at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (2006), Acting Executive Director of the Childhood Cultural Center (2008), the Director of Information and Communication at the Social Rehabilitation Center “Owain” (2011), the Regional Director of the Communication and Campaigns Department Awareness of the “Education Above All” Foundation (2013) and Executive Director of the Orphan Care Center, Dreama (2016).

Mariam Al-Misnad is currently the Executive Director of the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN). She is one of the members of Qatar Leadership Center under “Young Leaders” program, coupled with her membership in the advisory board of Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

She was awarded the title of “Ambassador to Orphans”, twice in a row as the first GCC woman to receive this award, by the Higher Organizing Committee of the Sanabel Award for Social Responsibility in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries

She participated in organizing and enhancing many awareness campaigns in the community with the aim of providing a safe environment for orphan children, in addition to compelling the organization towards implementing international standards for shelters through strategic partnerships and exchanging experiences with GCC countries and international organizations.

She also contributed to raising community awareness of the most persistent issues related to educating children in areas of armed conflict, to boost public awareness in the local and international community.

She received the Humanitarian Efficiency Award from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for Islamic Funds.
