Dr Ashley McKimm is Director of Partnership Development at the British Medical Journal (BMJ) where he leads a team building global collaborations to improve healthcare. He is also part of the New Ventures team at BMJ which focuses on supporting and investing in early-stage healthcare startups. Ashley regularly speaks at international healthtech conferences and is a judge at startup and accelerator awards. Previously Ashley practised as a doctor in the UK before being seconded as a Clinical Advisor to the NHS England National Medical Director. He is Director of the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare and past chairman of the UK Medical Journalists’ Association.
