We have been building widely adopted education programmes in the UK for 4 years, working with Health Education England, Barts NHS Trust, Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Trust and a variety of University and NHS Partners. We have also worked with the WHO.

Genomes.io is a DNA data bank that harnesses whole genome sequencing, secure encrypted virtualisation and blockchain technology to put individuals in full control of their genomic data. We provide our users with access to 30x whole genome sequencing, secure storage of this data in their personal DNA Vault, genetic reporting based on this data through a web account, and a mobile app to authenticate data access requests. This means they can learn about their genome and what makes them unique, but more importantly contribute data to research and even earn, without compromising privacy, security or ownership of their data.

The Systematic Medical Appraisal, Referral and Treatment initiative (SMARThealth) is designed to deliver low-cost, evidence based, primary healthcare in remote communities and low-resource settings. It supports local health workers with the technology and training to empower them to provide preventative healthcare in places where it is not readily available and relieve the burden on oversubscribed medical infrastructure.

SMARThealth provides simple electronic health record, wireless point-of-care diagnostics and series of evidence-based algorithms for patient management. It supports primary health care for cardiovascular disease, diabetes and mental health, and is in use in China, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar and Fiji.

SMART ASSISTANT FOR THE BLIND “ROBIN”

Smart assistant for the blind “Robin” is a new assistive device, which allows blind people to better orientate indoors and outdoors. “Robin” can recognize objects – up to 50 units, people and their faces, determine distance to them and detect obstacles by means of an ultrasonic rangefinder. When AI in “Robin” recognizes an object, it voices it through headphones. To warn a user about unexpected obstacles, “Robin” transmits information by vibrations of different intensity. It works without Internet connection or third-party applications. Developed as a complement to a white cane, it is simple to use and does not require long training.

READY TEDDY, PEDIATRIC MRI SIMULATION

MRIs are an intimidating and scary procedure that require patients to remain perfectly still for prolonged periods of time. As a result, in the United States 49% of pediatric patients are sedated for MRIs. With no data driven method of determining which patients require sedation, anesthesia is often a default. Ready Teddy is an innovative simulation using virtual reality technology that prepares children for an MRI and provides a new data source for clinicians.

The patent pending technology acquires biometrics that correlate with analogous MRI data to provide a new metric to inform clinical teams which patients need sedation.

Rainbow trays are human-factor engineered anesthetic drug trays incorporating the ISO26825 critical-care colours into a compartmentalized tray system that segregates drugs by type to reduce medication error.

COVID19 caused many of us to be isolated at home, including our elderly family members. Left unattended they are more prone to risks such as falls, gas leaks, flooding, fire and others. Ambianic.ai is an Ambient Intelligence project that removes the stigma associated with surveillance systems by implementing privacy preserving algorithms in three critical layers.

Ambianic.ai is an Ambient Intelligence project that implements privacy preserving algorithms in three critical layers: Peer-to-Peer Remote access, local device AI inference and training and local data storage. We aim to build a system that aids family caregivers, whilst allowing them to remain mobile and flexible within their time schedule. The system will observe the home environment and send notifications to caregivers about important events such as falls, medication compliance, fire, flood or gas leaks.
