This 90-minute interactive Workshop and Panel explores how a continuum of care from Art Therapy to Arts in Health can be used in the Gulf region to help communities cope with stress, anxiety, change, and the COVID-19 pandemic as well as an array of mental health, social-emotional, physical and developmental concerns. The format is a mixture of lecture, question and answer, panel discussion, and interactive activity. The target audience is allied health professionals, educators, artists, arts managers, museums professionals, researchers, and policymakers who are interested in the intersection of arts and health. The general public is invited to join as well. The event is led by 2 licensed Art Therapists, an Arts in Health researcher, and Community Arts Program Manager.
